Reaching the archivist
Vestige is kept by one person. There is no team behind it, no support desk, and no queue — which means everything sent here is read by the same hand that writes the records, and answered as quickly as one person can manage.
Where to write
The surest route is the archive's channel, where the recitals are published: comments and messages there reach the archivist directly. If the archive has become part of how you play and you would rather support it than write to it, theKo-fi page is the other door, and its messages arrive just as surely.
Corrections
These are the most valuable thing you can send, and they are wanted more than praise. If a record states something the game does not, or states as attested what is only inference, say so — and if you can, name the source: the quest, the fragment, the codex entry, the line of dialogue. The archive will check the claim against primary sources rather than take anyone's word for it, the record's word included.
What follows a confirmed correction is fixed practice: the record is amended, the change is entered in the Ledger with a version and a date, and the error is acknowledged rather than quietly overwritten. An archive that hides its corrections is only asking to be believed. This one would rather be checked.
Requests
Records the archive has not written yet, frames without an alcove in the Leverian, eras thin in the Chronicle — all fair to ask for. Requests do not jump a queue so much as reveal where the gaps are felt, and the gaps that are felt get filled first.
What the archive cannot do
It cannot help with accounts, purchases, bugs, or anything else belonging to the game itself; those belong to Digital Extremes' support, and the archive has no standing to answer for them. It does not speak for Digital Extremes, is not affiliated with them, and cannot tell you what is coming next — only what is already attested. And it will not confirm a piece of lore on request without a source, however confidently it is asserted.
On privacy
Nothing sent to the archive is added to a list, sold, or shared. There is no newsletter and no mailing list to be added to. What the site itself collects, and how to switch all of it off, is set out plainly on the privacy page.
