Gara
The glass-bodied frame of Ostron legend — the Unum's champion, who shattered herself to end the last great Sentient and scattered its remnants into the Eidolons that still wander the Plains by night.
The device detonated, and the Unum cried out as night lit as day.
The Woman of Glass
Gara has no Leverian; Drusus never hung a plate for her. What survives instead is folklore — the Legend of Gara, recovered as Glass Fragments on the Plains of Eidolon and translated by Onkko, the Cetus Archivist. It is told as the Ostrons tell it: half history, half prayer, about a warrior of glass who was the Unum's dearest companion in the dying days of the Orokin.
Whether the legend's Gara is the very being the Tenno drew from the lake, or a myth a frame was recovered beside, the tale leaves open. Konzu says only that they reclaimed the remains of the Unum's champion, a woman of Glass.
The Last Tower
In the legend a single colossal Sentient fell from the stars onto ancient Er and went tower to tower, toppling each, until only one withstood it: the living Tower of the Unum, at what would become Cetus. When the other Tenno scattered, Gara would not leave the one she loved best.
The thing grew strong by night and weak by dawn, so the Unum forbade her from meeting it at its height and set her instead to hunt where it slept by day. To find it, the Unum gave refined Temple kuva to her followers, who fed it to the animals of the land, until the beasts were an extension of the tower and the tower of them. The design turned: the Sentient seized a kuva-touched animal, and from it learned that kuva could restore the power it had lost — the power to replicate. As it came down on the tower a final time, Gara carried a device into its core. She raised no defence. Her defence was her last attack.
What she left
The blast undid the Sentient, and Gara was never seen again. What remained of the thing broke into the senseless, wandering fragments that still yearn for a unity they can no longer remember — the Eidolons that cross the Plains by night. The Ostrons call the drowned battlefield Gara Toht Lake.
The archive keeps one thread across its own records: this is the same ground where, an age later, a warden would fall into the lake and rise wearing an Eidolon's essence — the frame the archive files as Revenant. Two legends, one lake, and the broken Sentient between them.
