Nyx
The frame of the mind — a weapon that reaches past armour into thought, and answers an enemy not with a blade but with the enemy’s own will.
The Mind as Weapon
Where other frames answer the enemy with fire or steel, Nyx answers with the enemy. She reaches into a soldier's consciousness and takes it: one foe seized to fight for the Tenno, a squad's defences stripped away, a whole line folded into confusion until the ranks turn their guns on each other. At the far end she folds inward instead — drawing every shot meant for her into herself, then giving it all back at once as a single psychic blast.
That is the whole of her told character, and it is a precise one. Nyx is not a frame that ends a life. She is a frame that unmakes a loyalty — the quietest and least forgivable thing a weapon can do.
The shared inheritance
Nyx has no tale of her own — no quest, no comic, no diorama bears her name. Her legend is the legend of the Warframes as a kind: living weapons cultured in the Orokin age, thrown against the Sentients in the Old War, and moved from a distance by the Tenno through Transference. Beneath her armour is the same buried truth The Sacrifice made every player carry — a person the Empire remade into a tool.
The archive stops where the canon stops. There is a psychic front to that war, and Nyx is its instrument; but no source sets her at any particular hour of it, and anything more specific than "she was there, as they all were" is inference the record will not dress up as fact.
