THE LEVERIAN // ALCOVE 06 · The unmovable — juggernaut and force-multiplier

Rhino

The cornerstone tank — an immovable wall of Iron Skin whose one piece of dedicated lore is a terrified diary that says a word the archive knows well: Zariman.

The Cornerstone

Rhino is among the first frames a Tenno can field, and he is built to be stood behind. The Lotus introduces him as an immovable force: Iron Skin to take what a squad cannot, Roar to make their blows land harder, a charge to open a line and a stomp to end one. He is story-light on purpose — the roster's cornerstone, the frame you learn survival on, character delivered entirely through what he can take and what he lets his squad give.

He carries no quest and no Leverian plate. For most of his long service that would be the end of his record. But his Orokin-era Prime came with something the base frame never had: a single page of found writing.

In-game (abilities, acquisition)

The ones from Zariman

The Rhino Prime codex is a diary in a stranger's voice — a facility worker, red alarms on white walls, running with a colleague named Davis as something mercury-bright tears through the security between them. The worker feels a flash of recognition, as if he has stood before this shape before. Davis names where they are: a containment vault, where they keep the ones from Zariman — the ship, the worker answers, that never returned.

That page was written years before the archive's own canon caught up to it. When it was penned, the Zariman Ten Zero was only a haunted name; only later did the Void-lost colony ship become the origin of the Tenno themselves. Whether the diary's Zariman is that Zariman is never confirmed on screen. The archive keeps the rhyme and refuses the certainty — a very early whisper of the deepest thread in the record, filed here beside the frame that carried it.
